1) Things Are Getting Better
Superpower, a startup aiming to become the first AI-powered super app for health, just raised $30M from notable investors (details below).
It’s official – I'm excited to announce Superpower's $30 million series A from Forerunner and Day One, alongside celebrities Steve Aoki, actress Vanessa Hudgens, NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, and existing investors Cyan Bannister, Shaan Puri, Balaji, Arielle Zuckerberg and many

I'm incredibly bullish on AI's potential to transform healthcare. I've personally used AI to diagnose health issues, optimize workouts, and customize meal plans, resulting in significant improvements to my own health.
Superpower's offering includes access to 100+ lab tests, lifetime tracking of your health data, and a private medical team, for just $499.
The age of personalized healthcare is here.
2) Your Next Big Opportunity: OpenAI's AI Image API is Live
OpenAI just unlocked its incredibly popular ChatGPT-powered image generation through an API called gpt-image-1. Last month, users generated 700 million images in just one week, mainly driven by the crazy popular Studio Ghibli trend.
Now, any developer can easily integrate this powerful visual AI into their own apps and services.
This release is a game changer because it dramatically simplifies turning ideas into visuals. With just a single API call, you can instantly create polished, professional-quality images—from realistic product visuals and sleek logos to detailed infographics. Pricing is straightforward, ranging from about $0.02 to $0.19 per image, depending on quality.
So, the API is amazing, but it’s very expensive for now.
My friend Greg Isenberg recently shared several ideas on X that could help you get started. You could build a visual email tool to quickly create custom graphics for e-commerce, or perhaps a game asset generator that delivers instant characters and UI elements for indie game developers. Another idea is a visual onboarding tool that automates UI mocks and user flows for SaaS startups, or a logo and icon marketplace offering AI-generated branding packages. Real estate listings could be transformed into luxury staged visuals, and startups could benefit from daily visual breakdowns of complex legal concepts. You might even create a brand therapy tool to visually generate branding ideas for early-stage companies.
Right now, these opportunities are wide open, but they won’t stay that way for long. Your next idea could soon feel obvious in hindsight, so start exploring today.

5) Things I’m Learning From
Great piece from Pirate Wires about how Agency is Eating the World.
“A solo operator can now launch a $1b business powered by AI”
NEW: Replit founding data scientist and engineer @giansegato: “I’ve begun to see product managers developing business financial models; designers writing commercial ads; barbershops building custom booking systems; and restaurant owners creating advanced pricing tools... These

Worth thinking about this post from Karpathy. We need to start building for large language models (LLMs).
PSA It’s a new era of ergonomics.
The primary audience of your thing (product, service, library, …) is now an LLM, not a human.LLMs don’t like to navigate, they like to scrape.
LLMs don’t like to see, they like to read.
LLMs don’t like to click, they like to curl.Etc etc.

Interesting ARC-AGI benchmark results for o3. The o3 model that OpenAI released isn’t as powerful as the o3 they previewed a few months back. But it’s pretty close and dramatically more cost-efficient.
ARC-AGI o3 retest results are in!
Takeaway: o3 (medium) is the industry leading AI reasoning system by large margin. 2X score and 1/20 cost compared to next leading chain-of-thought system as measured by ARC v1 semiprivate set scoring 57% for $1.5/task.
On v2, o3 (medium)
