This week was exciting. We launched our first service company, Lore Labs. An AI Video Agency. Within 24 hours, we already have 38 inquiries and over 300 followers on social media!

Microsoft Research's Machine Learning Foundations team has developed a series of small language models (SLMs) called "Phi," achieving notable performance on various benchmarks.
The latest, Phi-2, a 2.7 billion-parameter model, excels in reasoning and language understanding, outperforming much larger models.
Focused on high-quality training data and scaled knowledge transfer, Phi-2 is available in Azure AI Studio for research and development. Its compact size makes it ideal for exploratory research in AI safety and interpretability, representing a significant advancement in efficiently scaled language models.
TomTom has partnered with Microsoft to develop an AI-powered conversational assistant for vehicles, enabling natural voice interactions with infotainment and vehicle systems.
Utilizing Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service, TomTom's assistant will enhance user experience in automotive infotainment and can be integrated into various systems, including TomTom's Digital Cockpit platform.
This collaboration continues TomTom's ongoing investment in AI, following their creation of a ChatGPT plug-in for trip planning and a partnership with Microsoft since 2016 to power Azure Maps location services.
Imran Khan, Pakistan's former prime minister and current opposition leader, used AI to deliver a speech from jail, where he is detained on charges of leaking classified documents.
His party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), utilized a voice clone created by ElevenLabs to generate a four-minute message in Khan's style and broadcast it at a virtual rally on social media.
The virtual rally was viewed by over 4.5 million people and highlights a new application of AI in circumventing state suppression.
