2) ElevenLabs Democratizes Conversational Voice AI for Businesses

ElevenLabs has launched a platform that lets businesses deploy AI-powered voice agents in just a few clicks. It combines speech-to-text, language models, and text-to-speech to deliver natural, real-time conversations on web, mobile, and telephony channels.

The best part? It works in 32 languages, opening up endless possibilities for global customer engagement. Imagine creating AI bots that seamlessly interact with people across the world in their native language!

With low latency, advanced turn-taking, and even interruption handling, this platform ensures smooth interactions — even in noisy environments. Businesses can fully customize voices and integrate models like Gemini, Claude, or GPT to create unique, brand-aligned experiences.

This is a game-changer for companies of all sizes looking to elevate customer engagement and operational efficiency.

3) Testing 4 New AI Coding Tools: Bolt vs V0 vs Replit vs Websim

In this week’s episode of The Next Wave, Matt Wolfe and I tried out all the latest AI coding tools and tested to see how good they are at creating websites. Some of the results were pretty shocking(both good and bad).

4) Worlds AI

AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li’s startup, World Labs, has debuted its first project: an AI system that transforms a single image into an interactive 3D scene.

Unlike typical systems that generate static 3D models, World Labs’ approach creates modifiable, explorable environments. “You can step into any image and explore it in 3D,” the company shared in a blog post.

The scenes are rendered live in your browser, offering features like controllable depth of field (DoF), dynamic lighting, and interactive effects. While they still have a cartoonish look and occasional quirks, the system ensures consistency and realistic physics — a step up from many existing "world models."

Why it matters: Generating 3D instead of 2D content promises greater control and utility for industries like gaming, film, and simulation. As World Labs refines its tool, this could change how we design and interact with virtual environments.

Imagine the new types of games, movies and new kinds of interactive experiences this could create.
